Supplies needed:
For the cover – black card stock, metallic silver marker, red tempera paint, Halloween stickers
For the inside – white vellum paper, scrap plastic sleeve, spider web paper, orange vellum paper, more Halloween stickers
The folded card measures 4½” x 8”. The skull and RIP were drawn freehand in metallic silver marker. Red tempera paint from the kids’ paint box was used for the “not allowed” symbol (also freehand). Stickers were added when the paint was dry.
The ghost was cut out of white vellum (about 4¼” x 3½”); the eyes were hole-punched. The ghost was mounted on a ½” wide strip of plastic, about 1” long, fan-pleated, and attached to the ghost and the card on either end with tape. The spider web paper measures 4¼” x 5½” and was glued to the card with a glue-stick. The orange vellum measured 3 7/8” x 5 1/8” and was attached with the Halloween stickers. The font used was Chiller (Microsoft Word 2010) and printed in red.
